SPEC: Iris pumila

We just received Iris pumila rizomes from trans-Volga-river steppes near
the lake Elton (100 miles East of Volgograd) and Russia-Kazakhstan border.
Color range varies there from white through rose (pink?) to purple and
violet without yellow.

After two week of real summer in April we have two week of real winter in
May with night temperatures down 19F. I'm very interested if something
survive these days. No one iris yet, only Tulipe tarda in bloom.
