my personal experience with mart iris a new twist in December while buying
Christmas presents, I had noticed at Meijers (do any of you have them out
side Ohio?) its like a giant Kmart with a grocery store and everything
business, well, I had seen a MONACO pink blush iris left over from summer
forgot in the clearance lane and I pulled it out of the box, I saw one
speck of green and said-- save worthy. for like pocket change I got it put it
in a pot with house plant potting soil and left by my washing machine where
the old laundry water and all the phosphates kept it moist!( iris sure are
tough) and hardly any light. Then after a week it bolted to tiny green fans.
Today it joins the iris out side to yet be discovered what the true color is
and what it is really. But funny all the other Healthy mart iris I purchased
from the store in the right time and season died -- they were all suffering
from a dry rot disease it seems- dry rot in the package, did not know.
discovered this year.
