I am sure it was a disappointing experience--BUT--at the OKC convention we
visited a garden the morning after a hailstorm that looked much the same
way.  Two days later, on a second visit, one would not have known that the
hail had been there.  Each iris flower lasts only three days or so, to be
replaced by others.  In a few days, you will not see any sign of hail
damage.
