Dennis, you posted a photo of your stalwart mystery iris on the photo list. I
think you should visit the HIPS page and take a look at ALCAZAR (Vilmorin,
1910). Your color is cooler, and the fall on Mike's is turned under along the
edge and looks a bit doggier than the norm, but there is a resemblance which
might be interesting to investigate. In any case it is surely "Style of
Vilmorin".
