CULT: Blooms!

From: "J.F. Hensler" <hensler@povn.com>

It's only been a few short weeks since we had snow flurries and after about two nice weeks of Spring, Summer has descended upon us with full sun and temps close to 80.

Alpine Lake and Snuggles (MDBs), Beauty Mark, Cherry Garden, and Orange Tiger (SDBs) are all blooming like wild.

Tiny Dwarf Cresteds are showing buds and should open by Monday if it stays warm. (I'm checking them twice a day, Dennis.)

Yippee (SDB) is showing color and about 3 dozen other Dwarf beardeds have budded up. Cammas lilies have popped up in the bearded beds and are putting on their own show with spikes of icy blue flowers.

The shocker is that a small clump of Immortality (TB) has four sturdy bloomstalks already a foot high.

Frost burn is evident on a lot of the leaves but hasn't damaged many blooms. Most seem to have come through beautifully.
