I have noticed a number of my irises have an overall spotting of dark colors
on them where they should not be. BE HAPPY, for example, normally has light
blue standards and yellow falls. Mine has red marks or short streaks all
over it. PINES, a white SDB with chartreuse halo, has blue marks and
streaks. Many other of my irises are showing evidence of marking like this.
I heard this is a virus and there is no cure. I hate to dig up and destroy
big established colonies of irises but I find the marking very unsightly. Is
there a way to reverse this?
