Oh you were so close....I got a positive ID as PEACH PETALS, (BB, Dave
Niswonger, 1987) Whew! I'm relieved. It's such a beauty. I hate to lose
track of the names of irises. My mother had given it to me years ago and I
shared some with a neighbor. Mine never bloomed and must have been lost.
Hers is a gorgeous clump so she is giving me a few rzs back. My mom had to
go back in her records to see what she grew that fit the description. It
helped that I brought her a blooming stalk too. Usually IDs are a little
shaky, but this one is 100%.
