I guess Jim Loveland is too busy gardening to read the list these days!
But, I know that he does plant his seeds straight away after harvesting them
from the pods and he gets germination right away.  I believe he had hundreds
if not thousands germinate last summer and he overwintered them in his
greenhouse.  I know that not everyone has greenhouse facilities, but the
point is, many of them did germinate right after summer planting.  Hope this
is of help.  If Jim does read this, he can tell you all more.
