While I personally consider stock to be either the base for soup or the
actual number of plants available for sale or trade...
And I personally consider stalk to be that thingy the blooms are
attached to...
I have been using the terminology 'spike' for ten years, in lieu of the
other two. Is this correct? If so, why? If not, why not?
Maybe we should have a new subject header...
