Thank you, Betty, for this message. I love hearing what people are
crossing, and why. Even if results aren't yet known. All the more
if they are! While we are in these slow winter days, I hope others
will tell what hyb. projects they're into and what results they're
having. I asked for pics of people's own seedlings and got some
lovely ones. We should all have digital cameras!

Whidbey Island, WA, from which you can bet you'll hear of seedlings
if I get any I don't run all the way to the compost pile with. If I
get any at all? It won't be from not babying those little seeds!
