Hope everyone enjoyed the holiday and all the trimmings.
I have SIGNA seeds, pardancanda and a few crosses I'm going to try.
The few times I've planted seed I've sowed dirctly into the ground
with good germination.
I dug a plot 5' X 10' six inches deep. I filled my pots with promix.
Set the pots so the tops were just above ground level. Lined the
bottom of the trench with weed block. There is a box elder next door
and the darned thing sends roots everywhere. Once I get the pots
planted with seed and labelled I'll place reemay over everything and
then cover with leaves. I've placed concrete blocks around the plot
for extra wind protection.
The wind comes out of the west and northwest so fiercly, I have to
pull the yard back into position every spring.
Any suggestions or oversights on my part would be appreciated.
TIA for any advice.
