Walter, I don't see it as a "guarantee" of rebloom; however, I do see it as 
indication it "may" or even "probably will" rebloom. IMHO.  The first bloom I 
saw on Bridge In Time was a fall bloom . . . a late fall bloom at that.  It 
opened with extremely heavy lace and substance, and these things do not 
express themselves in the warmer weather--spring or otherwise.  The same is 
true for RETURNING CHAMELEON & REBOUND--fall bloom first.  

You can't really count on maiden bloom to be true in any way, including 
rebloom.  I've had another reminder of this phenomena myself.  When my fall 
blooming iris opened this year, it's a deep purple with a purple beard, but 
it no longer has that silvered wash that it had last year.  Still pretty but 
not as striking.
