Dear Walter,
You seem to have some success with germinating LA seeds.

I have never had a LA seed germinate. Would you mind sharing
your "process" for getting them to germinate?

Calvin,
Lack of a 'process' has produced better results than
what I have sprouting in the pots.
Here is a 'process' that sometimes works.
1. Gather seed as pods turn yellow and split open. Do not allow seeds to dry.
2. Remove seed cork or nick the cork.
3. Sow seed in potting soil in pot.
4. Place pots in an area where they get a little morning sunshine.
5. Keep well watered.
6. Many seeds germinate in Sept. or Oct. Others winter over and sprout in the
spring.
I have heard of another procedure used on LA seeds which is like Linda
Mann's 'burrito' method on bearded seed. The seeds are placed in damp paper
towels and placed in a baggie in the refrigerator. When they are about an inch
long, they are potted.
