Congratulations Dana!
I have about 300 seeds in the fridge right now. I do not expect any germination in about 30 days yet. When they start growing, I will line them out right away straight into the garden. The weather here is mild enough to grow them through the winter. I wanted to see if that really gives them much of a head start over those that germinate during spring.
I know tomato plants set out Feb 15th here do not fare better than those set out on March 15th as far as growth. Even fruit set seams equal. Zinnias and squash do not fare better either when started prior to the summer heat hitting (which is when they seem to take off).

Well Talkers,
I just had to share this. We have 31 seeds germinating. While
checking our seeds in the fridge we found these first few starting up.
These 31 come from 15 crosses. There were many more seeds from these
crosses and many more crosses that haven't started yet but after the dismal
results with last years seeds this is a really nice start and I just wanted
to share!!
Thanks,
Dana Brown
