Re: HYB: germination - pink crosses


If Yahoo didn't slight you, it is probably buried in some other
longwinded post from me.  Or maybe I thought it but didn't post.

I need to go re-read and will post more later, but the Valette book has
some information on germination/stratification requirements &
specifically mentions that seeds from pink crosses are easier to
germinate (less demanding in terms of treatment).  I think....take that
with a grain of salt for the moment.  In any case, nearly all the seeds
that have germinated for me so far this fall (fresh planted without
drying & soaking) are from crosses involving pinks.
