Sounds interesting. Thanks for the link, I will follow that up.

I wouldn't even begin to know what it is I would want to ask her about. I
have looked eagerly at TT's web page, and read articles about his work.
During my recent visit to Tempo Two, Barry Blyth was kind enough to look
through and comment on, my PCI photos. He filled me in on some of the
background work in Australia (Pre Ghio) that was done in this area, and
suggested that there were a number of other species involved in the breeding
lines, including I. unguicularis. I don't think a lot has been written on
this work.
His comments fuelled my curiosity as to what might be possible. He thought
that my PCI's were unlikely to be tetraploid, but the huge size of many of
them has me thinking otherwise. (Iforgot to mention this - photos can be
misleading as to size).
I certainly hope to do some experimental crosses of my own in the future.
Cheers, Jan
PS - Rodney - I forget now which issue I didn't receive in 2001, but it has
been discussed some time back, and was supposed to be resent at the time. I
will have to hunt around for the one I did get, and get back to you on that
... thanks, Jan
