   If the cover picture for the Bulletin was taken at a convention garden in
Memphis, then it was likely on a two year plant.

   I think there are as many micro climates up East and down South as there are in 
the West.and mine is not one favorable for MESMERIZER.  I couldn't get it to live
for two years, and that is why I never voted for it.  The picture on the bulletin cover
is not the picture of ' the best iris of the year,' in my opinion.  I am sure there are 
better pictures of this subject available.  This one might be mistaken for a pinwheel.

Can someone post  a picture of the 'real' MESMERIZER to iris-photos?
