RE: PHOTO:AIS Bulletin Cover 10/02

It grows well here in the hot country. A perfect stalk of Mesmerizer
won Best of Show at our SCIS show last spring. My big clump bloomed
for a whole month, made a beautiful display in the garden, and had
plenty of good rhizomes left over for our rhizome sale. It reblooms
some places but not for me. Its only fault that I see is a tendency for
some of the flower laden stalks to fall over.

I don't know. I may have replaced it once or even twice, but it
never made it into bloom in my garden.

Guess it grows somewhere like KILT LILT does and even
reblooms!

We've had a Dykes' every year now for some years without a
percentage of votes qualification figured into the counting. Maybe,
we could require it to have won a certain percentage of the regions,
but we'd probably go back to having 'years of no winners.'
