Am I reading your message incorrectly, or are you saying that you're  
crossing irises now (or Oct.) in fall?

And do you do anything special to your rebloomers to give you such  
large numbers of rebloom?

Actually, I don't do anything much.  All my iris beds are in trucked-in topsoil, but only because my original salty alkaline adobe clay is toxic, even with only 20% of it in an otherwise premium mix.  We just have a great climate for iris.  I have not even been fertilizing much (too busy).  Your guess is as good as mine.
