Just when I thought we'd been completely shut out on fall bloom
this year, WINTER FLAME pops up a stalk in the blink of an eye
(looked like it grew a foot overnight!). I suppose technically
it's not a rebloom, since it didn't bloom in the spring (hasn't
bloomed since spring '01), but it'll be nice to have a little color
in the garden again.
I imagine getting rain for the first time in 6 months had something
to do with its appearance :-)
