CULT: Lack of flowers

     Most likely, where you have them is part of the problem.  Most types of 
Irises need quite a bit of sun.  Considering the very cloudy nature of the 
climate of Scotland, try putting them in the sunniest spot you have.  Putting 
them by a south facing wall would even be better.  
     When you transplant them, make sure that you do not plant them too 
deeply.
