I think so.  But I think the question was about introduction - there has
to be documentation of the iris being introduced into commerce in order
for it to be registered.  I think.

I don't think it matters <where> it's introduced, but I think I remember
some discussion about having to be introduced (advertised for the first
time) in the US to be eligible for US awards.

I dont' know how introductions on international websites are handled.

<I was under the impression that the American Iris Society was the
                       INTERNATIONAL registration authority for the
