All kinds of abstract ideas for things to do and best ways to do them -
unfortunately, all require volunteers to do the work.

If it weren't incredibly time consuming/costly to scan, edit, and
reformat the data, it would have been done long ago, probably in
multiple versions, and some version or other would have long since been
commercially available.

Some of the raw data are now available for any subscriber to download,
edit, format and make their own CDs.

At this point, seems to me that AIS decisions only affect availability
of the most recent checklists and R&I's.
