Betty,
You made my day. I didn't think light was an issue during
winter because there isn't much light in the fridge, (or
Oregon for that matter <g> in the winter.) The verdict is-
my seeds get to live here with me!! It doesn't hurt that
my daughters are encouraging me to make the whole back yard
a garden, something to do with mowing... Maybe I'll do it
more scientific-like and plant some in full sun and some in
the area I have in mind.
I am also relieved, that was the depth I had planted. I've
grown lots of seeds (other perennials) over the years
inside, so I just assumed that would be the correct depth
for a seed that size. I would've hated to find out that
they weren't supposed to be covered though, figured nows
the time to ask even if it may be a dumb question.
