Betty,
	While looking at many seedling slides this weekend at the TBIS meeting we
saw lots of hafts marks.  For me it is something that has to be evaluated on
an individual basis.  They may look good in this color on that seedling and
they may be awful.  I judge them on a one by one basis.

I think it was Linda that mentioned "busy" hafts.

When I began hybridizing, busy hafts sentenced a seedling to the nearest
compost pile. They just weren't acceptable.  Then Ghio introduced one (can't
remember the name) and they suddenly became popular!   A lot of things were
trashed
that would probably be acceptable now.

What is the general consensus on haft marks now?
