Depends. Sometimes they are an enhancement, sometimes they detract. But
sometimes I'm not sure when people are talking where they cease being haft
marks and become another pattern. To me, they often appear a natural and
correct part of the bloom just as they are in most species blooms. In many
of those cases they just seem to belong and sometimes are a feature that
neither detracts nor draws attention.
