I've been told that fall rims is probably a
recessive trait, so I do try and use as many
rimmed varieties as possible. Fortunately BB's
intros are sometimes both rimmed and
rebloomers, or at least carry rebloom genes.
ENJOY THE PARTY reblooms in Australia and has
the rimmed falls. PAGAN DANCE and ENGLISH
CHARM fit that criteria as well.
I have noticed in running pedigrees that
ROMANTIC MOOD also is in the parentage of
several irises with rimmed falls. I am not
sure that it is the same loci as the "umbrata"
patterned iriss. The rims from RM have been
rosy brown rather than the standard color.

I needed more work. They gave me a stack of
new work which is fully four feet tall.... omg
