Re: TB: bloom in Oz

Hi

Just got home last night from a week in NZ on business. A quick glance at
our very late TB bloom shows some ones I got last year are looking very
good. Glitterati, Good Show, Good Looking, Sunkist Delight, Mastery.
Bubble Dancer has one stem of the most fantastic rich pink blooms and
absolutely no increase (not happy about that) but I did get some pollen of
it.

Traitor is just an absolute mass of blooms. Triple Whammy is the tallest
thing in the garden.
Hearbreak Hotel looks gorgeous. Honey Scoop has been blooming for ages and
still going.
Coral Point is just about finished, but it has been a mass of bloom, as has
ByeBye Blackbird.

Carzy For You has been fantastic this year. It's in an area nothing else has
done well in, but it's put on heaps of increase and the blooms were
magnificent.

Still have a few late dwarfs and medians going. Managed to get pod set on
some interesting little ones, Devil May Care, Pink Pele.

The Louisiannas are at peak bloom. Spurias almost at peak as are the
siberians and the Japanese are just starting.
The most stunning Sib is Orvile Faye, it's just so tourquise. The best
spurias are Mahogany Lord and Sunrise in Senora.

Daylilies are just starting to bloom, but because we're still having some
cold nights their colours aren't at their best yet.

I'll be posting more photos over the next week or two, to remind all you
Northerners of what late spring is about. :-)
