Dorothy, do you know which it was that TBIS wants to be & which AIS
thought they should be? And why?
<The original question had to do with whether TBIS would be a "Section"
or a
"Cooperating Society" of AIS. HIPS is a Section. LA
is a Cooperating Society.
Local iris Societies are "Affiliates." I don't know
what PCIS stands for.

I have a vague recollection of there being some disagreement about AIS &
membership fees for TBIS & Society/Section status, but can't recall
what. Maybe it was the international thing....
