I think I'll try.  I think I may double bag it, too.  Layers work on people.
My two fears are that windy conditions may not be ideal for socking and that
one of the dogs (who likes new toys) will appropriate the socks as soon as
I'm out of sight for her own enjoyment.  In that scenario, double bagging
might help if the inside bag were attached more securely and separately from
the outside bag.  I had ladies hose over some pods, but they never stayed
over night.  She got them off without damaging the stalks or pods, but never
quit taking them.  It made me too insecure to keep trying.   Actually there
are two stalks to bag.  SIERRA MIST has a stalk that was formed in CA.
