Char... I have not tried downloading the online R&Is. If I were to try it,
I would be using Windows 2000, although XP or 98 should also be ok. It's
not particularly the Operating system. I'd be using MS Access to import in
from a text file, either Access 2000 or Access 97. And it may depend on how
the text file looked. If it were 'clean' text, all the same format, it
should work pretty well. If it were a text file like a word processing
letter... with lots of inconsistent spaces... it could be a problem.
I've worked professionally with lots of imports and exports with MS
Access. There are other things that kind of irk me about Access... but it's
ability to import and export data are actually one of the better qualities
Access has.
