For my two cents worth, I suspect there's also a preference felt by most for
the TB. I have some fragrant SDB's but I have to get down on my hands and
knees to sniff them. The size of the flower, the number of buds, the
branching. If you put that in the sdb's you'ld have to make them TB's. Most regionals
promote their medians just fine. Schreiner's grows medians also but the
crowds hit when the TB's begin to bloom.
