WELL ! ! Congratulations, Gerry, for your "AIS/TBIS preview" sensible,
practical, really down-to-earth comments! I wrote such a letter that somehow
disappeared off my screen as I was writing. I'm no expert on this monster, so I
don't know what button I should not have pushed, and it disappeared into thin
air.. I had put my heart and soul into what I was writing and just could not
rewrite it. So glad you picked up the cudgel. Now, I wonder how much help
you had from your better-half? Un til Dorothy Willot sort of referred to the
financial problems of attending 2 "annuals", the men who had replied never
referred to the financial (and time) problems. Irisarians , at lease some of
us, do not have unlimited bank accounts, AND we have to weigh the cost of 2
"annuals" against whether we would rather buy some good iises
(or what turns out not to be so good!) and see them in our own gardens more
than just one or two times, but maybe each year for awhile!
Your letter really hit what should be part of the nail, on the head. Thank
you! ! ! Rosalie nr Baltimore, USA zone 7 with weather not knowing whether (
! ) it is fall or winter! ryfigge@aol.com
