It is much easier than screening to be sure that every little nubbin has been
removed. You can even refresh the soil and plant something else in it. The
key is rotation so that any leftovers can be found and removed.
Of course, if you don't sell rhizomes or contribute any to club sales only
your own bloom is at risk and the extra precautions probably aren't worth the
effort.
