Yes - lots of my posts about it in the archives.  I use it for late
erratic freeze protection, have used multiple layers over a framework to
protect fall bloom stalks (similar to Bill B's plastic tent), leave it
all winter over very late planted rhizomes, use it over water filled
cola bottle heat reservoirs for extra protection.

One year, just for fun in the fall, a triple layer of the lightweight
stuff I use kept green beans producing when daytime highs were below
freezing, but I couldn't get at the beans to pick them without letting
in the cold air!
