Ok, so, in our show schedule, Section F is Tall Bearded, Section G is for
Historics, and if we had a Section for Space Agers that was H as well as
Section O for collections, then you could enter UNICORN as a TB, as an
Historic, as a Space Ager and if you had 3 more of them laying around, you
could enter it in a collection and be eligible to win blue ribbons on them
all?
We frequently have a member enter an iris in the species section and in the
collections section and she wins a blue on it in both places. Personally, I
have no problem with this.
I have been told that if you want to prevent the same iris being shown in
multiple sections your schedule must specifically state how to handle them.
ie: any iris 30 years old or older must be entered in the historic section,
or some such.

Patrick and Dana,
I found it. On page 81 of the April 2003 AIS Bulletin, it states the
change that was made to
page 41 under Award Ribbons. The change follows in bold:
"Only one first place award ribbon (blue), one second place ribbon
(red), and one third place ribbon (white) may be awarded to each cultivar in
any given section."
I too had this problem at a show last April, as we had exhibitors
entering
space agers in both the tall bearded section and the space age section. At
the time, I had not yet received the AIS bulletin.
