This has been an extraordinary year for rebloom here as well, although
nothing has bloomed as much as those two have for you, Jim.
SISTER MIRIAM SINGS is in bloom now and bloomstalks are forming on FALL
EMPIRE and two new plants: Betty's THEMEMASTER (bloom set in KY) and
G.P. Brown's SEPTEMBER SAILOR (bloom set at Riverview).
I just got OVER AND OVER this fall. We shall see how it does in my
torture chamber garden.
A couple of people have asked me offlist if I've tried to kill your
OXMOOR HILLS yet <g>, so I guess I better try a start of it next year.
<This year I kept a record on opening bloom of everything in the garden.
I have
two that have had bloom every month from June to
November. One is OVER AND
OVER (Innerst 2000), a plicata that is out of this
world. The other is my
OXMOOR HILLS (2004). I'm going to use OVER AND OVER
with every good plicata
in the garden!! Jim Ennenga>
