RE: REB: digging vs cutting stalks


I've lost the post, but someone asked why dig and bring indoors rather
than cut stalks before killing freeze.

I've found that unless buds are already showing color, the blooms don't
look normal on cut stalks, & stalks are prone to turn to mush fairly
quickly.

I'm hoping to get some pollen, possibly even try a cross or two on
either MYSTERY BLUSH or FALL EMPIRE plants that I brought indoors.

As if I don't have enough seeds and seedlings already...
