Chuck, I've found three sets of twins in my seedlings. This was several
years ago and I didn't follow though with any of them. Wish I had. If I get
another set, I'll pull them out and plant separately.
That year I had incredible germination, over all. I figured that I either
miscounted on the seed (counted and recounted the plants just in case) OR the
seed that I'd thought were not viable . . . sprouted anyway! I only count the
plump seed but plant everything that comes out of the pod. A habit I still
follow.
