SPEC: Iris varbossiana Maly

I'm not following you here. 
 
Iris verbossiana, which I understand to be a little  known collected form of 
Iris germanica ( 2n=44) from Bosnia---c.f. Amas  (2n=48, Asia Minor)--- is 
said to be sterile.
