I have only one iris throwing up bloom stalks - Juan Valdez. I could find
nothing about its parentage in the 1990 check list except that it is a
creation
of Bill Maryott. I have a whole bed devoted to supposed rebloomers where
they
can get extra summer water and fertilizer. The most I can say for that bed
is that at least nothing is rotting.

Nothing about Juan Valdez having RE tendencies! Current rebloomers in our
yard-Blatant -TB (Byers 90), Golden Violet (Weiler 93) SDB in spring, blooms
like a MTB in fall, and our very faithful Smell The Roses-SDB (Byers 88) has
been blooming on and off since mid Sept.
