Cult: Aussie Season

I've been interested in all the rebloom reports and talk of frosts. Here we
are just a fortnight from summer and you can see just about every type of iris
in our gardens.
It has been a strange season, started early with a warm September and then
slowed down with so much rain in Oct and early Nov. Have had only one or two
days over 30oC.

We did a very late move on some clumps of old PCs and a few of these are still
flowering. No dwarfs at the moment but a stem of What Again popped up the
other day. We have some late Border Beardeds going. Anaconda Love and Low
Profile are looking stunning.
The late TBs are all out now and will be finished within two weeks.
The Louisiana are also over peak but the Spurias and Siberians are near peak
and a a few early JI are out.

Over all it has been a good season but the warm wet weather means that we have
been struggling and losing in keeping up with the weeds. Also I have never
seen so much rot in the TBs. Hydrizing as been difficult as many pods hace
rotted as they formed.

Still there's always next year and the rebloomers
