CULT:Poem Of Ecstasy
_[PHOTO] TB Poem Of Ecsta_
(http://www.hort.net/lists/highlight.cgi?bits=3&search=Poem+Of+Ecstasy&URL=iris-photos/may02/msg00331.html#marker)
This iris bloomed in my garden for the first time this year. The tones were
a great deal darker than shown in this photo. The falls were almost plumb.
My oldest granddaughter declared it her new 'favorite.'
I put off buying it until 2004. (space) POE does come from rebloom carriers
etc.. It gave two stalks this spring and still has a full clump with good
sized rhizomes.
The catch? It has the Victoria Falls syndrome! The stalks fall on the
ground, which is how I found it when I got back from St. Louis. I've been told
this is typical??
Can anyone tell me if it has a tendency to pass this trait on to it's
children? VF did at times.
