Re: re: messed up photos archives

John -- Thanks for looking into this. Not to add to your burdens, but just to bolster Betty and Linda's problem reports -- I sent a message with photos to iris-photos on 11-11-06 that simple never arrived, either in the archives or in my own inbox. After 24 hours, I recrafted the message and sent it again. That time, it made it to both destinations, but the copy in the archives had only photos, no text. Meantime, a reply that I sent to a list member on 12-12-06, Subject: {Disarmed} Re: [iris-photos] sdb-DD05-49a, showed up in the archives with no text, which seems to be the case with most of the recent messages.

As to the message from Paul Archer via iris@hort, it did reach me a few hours after it showed up in the archives -- I suppose a vagary of the internet maze. -- Griff

I am looking into this and hoping that Chris can figure out what is happening soon.

Thanks for your patience

My problems seem more extensive. If I send text only to "photos" it will go
through. However, I've send the picture of 1814-3Re 3 or 4 times and it
doesn't make it to the list or the archives. It just disappears into cyber
space!
