Linda, Pinkness bloomed fairly tall here this spring. I was no more
pleased
with it than I was in the early 90's. A couple of the Pink Attraction
grandchildren grew tall too. (but no rebloom)
Should you become interested in pink as a class, try breeding a couple of
pairs of the best and selecting for height. Maybe the cure is to breed
for
tall Border Bearded in the pink class. <vbg>
Lots of crosses this spring with Treasured (tall) and Lotus Land (not so
tall) and Pink Attraction. Also some PA grandchildren mixed in. Just need
good
parents. And patience. Pink Attraction blooms later than most of the
other
pink rebloomers, and then reblooms EARLY. So far I'm not seeing rebloom
in
the children. I still see PA as the way to go, but I know others don't
agree!
<vbg> Not necessarily the ONLY way to go.
