HYB: diploid x non diploid.

I have a seedling- three leaves woo hoo- from LITTLE FREAK. LF is flat so I'm eccstatic.

LF is also registered as a diploid.

The pollen was from one of Bill Tyson's BC seedlings { does anyone know how to get in touch with Bill? } which I do not have pedigree information on.

If one parent is a known diploid and the other is presumed non-diploid, does that mean the resulting seedling is at best triploid?

Does that mean my seedling will be sterile, for all intents and purposes?
