RE: TB: CULT: Bloom out

Thanks Francelle,
It's encouraging to hear that there is a chance that
those bare rhizomes might resprout. I guess, as long
as the rhizomes haven't rotted there'll still be a
chance.
Thanks for the encouragement, Tom

Yes, Thomas, I have had bloomed out rhizomes produce a
shoot. I still have
a seedling that I thought had bloomed out with its
first stalk. I cut the
stalk and brought it in the house where I sighed over
its first and last
beautiful blooms. At the end of summer when I was
cleaning the beds, there
was a tiny little shoot where it grew. Also,
Mesmerizer regularly appears
to bloomout but manages to come back every year.
However it never has
enough left to rebloom. I lost When You Wish, a pink
Mesmerizer reblooming
seedling, to bloomout. It didn't come back.
Fortunately my Cloud
Reflection, Mesmerizer X Pink Champagne, has no such
tendency.
