Until this year, I would say yes. We've only had about an inch of snow that hasn't melted as yet. I'd sure feel better if it was 6" by now. Not sure if this is global warming or not, but for the last few years, my iris have bloomed earlier and earlier and lasted longer and longer. I still want snow cover though, which is usually well over 1 ft by now, at least in my garden.
