Just re-read your outline, Chuck, and now I'm more confused than before - if ARCTIC FOX is a oncer, how did temperatures between 16 and 21 C trigger flower bud set that went on to bloom this summer?
Could you post more info on sequence/timing/temperatures for the experiment? Or should we wait for publication?
Chuck said:<Artic Fox is a oncer....For regular oncers....Temperature triggers flower bud set. For most cultivars, TBs that is, it
would seem to be 6 dayswith night time temperatures min between 16 and 21C. Plant waits in readyness
state for further development until further conditions are met. Now the flowers are primed, but not triggered.> Linda Mann east TN --------------------------------------------------------------------- To sign-off this list, send email to majordomo@hort.net with the message text UNSUBSCRIBE IRIS
