Hello, Everyone, I have given up hybridizing for fall rebloom. Thanks to our five months of over 100 degree F. temperatures, fall rebloom just doesn't happen in my garden. A few of the best rebloomers will start in Dec. or Jan. and bloom till hot weather. Winter blossoms always suffer frost damage. My most successful rebloomers are those that start in late Feb. or early March and keep sending up stalks until late May. I judge them by the total number of days that they can produce attractive bloom. My highest number so far is 90 days. I have several with rebloom heritage that will bloom for thirty to thirty five days, and I really don't know whether these are true rebloomers. At least it's better than the fifteen days required for oncers.
